Mark brings a background in both public accounting and corporate financial management to our clients’ needs. By working on both sides of the industry, he has gained a strong understanding of the challenges business owners and managers face, as well as the most effective ways to address those challenges. He worked in public accounting for eight years before becoming a treasurer and chief financial officer. He joined Vowells & Schaaf in 1999 and became a partner in January 2001. Mark received his B.S. in Accounting from Purdue in 1985. He is a member of the Indiana CPA Society, American Institute of CPA and serves on the Board of Directors of the United Methodist Youth Home.
Jason provides 15 years of experience in public accounting specializing in providing tax, accounting, payroll and consulting services. Jason has experience in providing services to individuals and businesses including clients in healthcare, food services, agricultural and manufacturing industries. Jason earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Evansville. He is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and serves on the Board of Directors for the Princeton Rotary, the Gibson County Chamber of Commerce and the Newburgh United Methodist Church.
